Prasain elected president of NFSTWSSU
Surunga (Jhapa), Dec 9: Torup Prasain, a resident of Birtamod of Jhapa district has been elected the president of the National Federation of Small Town Water Supply and Sanitation Users (NFSTWSSU).
The Second General Conference of the Federation elected Prasain unanimously. He is also the president of the Birtamod Water Supply and Sanitation Users' Committee.
Similarly, Khem Raj Oli from Dang has been elected the vice-president, Chandra Krishna Karmacharya from Pokhara the general secretary and Ram Chandra Upadhyay from Tanahun the treasurer of the Federation.
Likewise, the elected members of the Federation are Durga Baral (Ilam), Subas Shrestha (Beni), Sherman Tamang (Parsa), Badri Bahadur Maskey (Gorkha), Padam Kathayat (Attariya), Krishna Regmi (Khaptad) and Mahendra Dev (Sindhuli).
