State assemblies endorse Bills to implement federalism
By A Staff Reporter, Kathmandu, Apr. 18: Assemblies of different States had endorsed a number of bills to implement federalism effectively.
Assembly meeting of State 3 on Wednesday held in Hetauda endorsed four bills with majority.
Bill on the Facilities of State Assembly Members, Bill of Provincial Cooperative Management, Bill to Run Business at the State level and Bill of Agriculture Business Management were endorsed on Wednesday. With this, the State Assembly of State 3 had endorsed altogether 26 bills till now.
State Minister for Social Development Yuba Raj Dulal had tabled the bills in the Assembly meeting.
Similarly, the State Assembly meeting of State 1 on Tuesday endorsed the Bill of Good Governance. The Assembly meeting unanimously endorsed to make the governing system more accountable, transparent and corruption-free.
State Minister for Internal Affairs and Law Hikmat Kumar Karki had presented the bill in the Assembly.
Indramani Parajuli, chairman of Justice, Administration and Assembly Affairs Committee, there presented the bill of the State secretariat management in the same meeting. The committee had suggested amending some points of the bill.
Bill on Economic Procedural Act was presented at the same meeting for its first amendment.
Indra Bahadur Aangbo, State Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning, had presented the bill seeking its amendment.
