Joint art exhibition focusing Visit Year
Kathmandu, Feb 27 : A joint art exhibition is being held at Russian Cultural Centre in the capital to make publicity of Nepali art and culture at international arena and attract foreign tourists.
Some 31 pieces of arts crafted by artists associated to Unique Stroke Group have been put up at exhibition that will last on March 2.
Nepal Russia Art Club organised the event in view of Nepal Visit Year 2020. The arts put up in the exhibition have attempted to demonstrate Nepal's natural beauty, peculiar cultural and religious aspects as well as different effects of social life.
Gopal Chitrakar, Vice-Chancellor of the Nepal Fine Art Academy, expressed his confidence that the outreach of domestic culture, nature and social aspects at international level could bring positive effects to tourism industry of Nepal.
Club Chair Sushma Ranbhandari stressed the need of preserving Nepali art and culture to make Nepal Visit Year a success.
