Arupan Journal launched
Kathmandu, Jan 23: The Arupan National Research Centre-Nepal has launched a special issue of Arupan Journal.
The third issue of the Journal that was launched here on Sunday covers a research fellowship report on senior artist Gehendra Man Amatya’s personality and some of his modern paintings.
The fellowship was provided by the Arupan Research Centre while the research report was prepared by five students of the Department of Fine Arts at Bijeswori Higher Secondary School, Kathmandu.
At the launch programmeheld at the Lazimpat-based Arupan Art Gallery, senior artist and art critic Ramesh Khanal expressed his critical views on the research and the Journal.
Similarly, artist Amatya had extended thanks to the concerned stakeholders who were involved in the making of the research on him.
On the occasion, Prof. Govinda Narayan Jyapu, artist Narendra Bahadur Shrestha and Mrs. Reeta Khanal had expressed their views on artist Amatya and the research on him.
