Thapa wins Miss Queen Tanahun title
Kathmandu, Nov 7: Sanju Thapa has been crowned Miss Queen Tanahun 2017. Thapa, a 11 grader at local Damauli College, won the title in the beauty pageant hosted by Tanahu Event Management on Sunday.
Together with the crown, she also received a TVS scooter. Muna Thapa bagged the the first runner-up title while the titles of the second runner- up and the third runner-up went to Anu Shrestha and Sharmila Rana Magar respectively.
The first runner-up received a prize of Rs. 10,000 and the second the third runner-ups each got Rs. 5,000.
Similarly, Ashmita Sherchan won the viewer choice award. Dr. Shree Ram Chand Thakuri, the Man of the World 2016, actress Sanchita Luitel and Deepak Khand of the Kasthamandap Television were the jury members. The title winners were taken around Damauli Bazzaar on Sunday.
