Kutuma Kutu…becomes the most popular Nepali song
Kathmandu, Oct 18:Nepali song “Kutuma Kutu Supari Dana” set a new record in the domestic music industry as it broke all the previous records set by any Nepali song in the social networking site--YouTube.
“Kutu ma Kutu Supari Dana” that was included in the movie “Dui Rupaiya” has touched the milestone as the highest watched Nepali song in the Youtube. The music video of the song was viewed 30,052,939 times in the YouTube channel.
“Kutuma Kutu Supari Dana” broke the record set by “Surke Thaili Khoi”, the hit song of the hit Nepali movie Woda Number 6.
The song “Surke Thaili Khoi” was viewed for 22,456,220 times in the Youtube.
Beautiful and popular song Kutuma Kutu… has taken the Nepali music to a newer height and encouraged many talented singers to come up with new songs and music videos.
Nepali music industry has been making a steady progress specially when the number of migrant workers increased in different countries around the world as people living away from home and their family members back in home tend to listen to music to forget the missing family members.
Even in home, playing local music during the feasts, festivals, marriage ceremonies, picnics and during the travelling has become a popular practice. Many of the drivers love to play Kutuma Kutu throughout their journey from Jhapa to Kathamndu.
