Baglung gets Rs 3.6 million for playground construction
Baglung, June 7: Baglung district has received Rs 3.6 million for the construction of playgrounds at different schools and places.
The district got the budget through the Ministry of the Youths and Sports for the current fiscal year 2015/16. According to the District Sports Development Committee, construction task of playgrounds would be completed within July 15.
Uttarganga Higher Secondary School, Galkot Higher Secondary School, Bangechour playground and Boharagaun playground would get Rs 500,000 each for the construction of playground while Rs 1 million has been allocated for the Chautaredanda playground.
Similarly, Mahendra Higher Secondary School and Suryodaya Janak Secondary School would get Rs 300,000 each for the same.
Committee Chairman Dhan Bahadur Pariyar said that the committee has already received the budget of first installment and the remaining budget would be received after completion of construction task of playgrounds.
He said, "New playgrounds would be constructed in some places while repair and maintenance task will be carried out of some playgrounds, which are on dilapidated condition. All construction works will be completed within July 15." RSS
